This first field experience came around at the perfect time. My neighborhood was just finishing up on "spring trimming"! Apparently nature had grown too much over the past year and needed to be taken down a notch. The development claimed it was for the better of the community and the animals but who knows. All I know is that when I moved in it was peaceful with plenty of trees and bushes surrounding each building that it was nice and quiet and even a private. Unfortunately over the past three almost four weeks, there has been the constant sound of saws and trucks cutting down the over growth and shipping it to who knows where. I guess the neighborhood looks better, what do you think?
